Brand New Leather CD cases from Folio to match Folio Albums

I am delighted that Folio Albums have now added a beautiful CD Presentation case to their range. Whats even better is that these great looking cases match the Folio Album with the same leather cover and colour that you choose for your album. And also comes in its own little canvas bag just like the albums!

Both of my standard wedding packages include all the images on a CD in a presentation box but I was never quite happy that the CD box I used never quite matched the beautiful wedding albums from Folio until now!

Thank you Folio ! a great addition to the range proving that they really do think about what their customers want.

Cheshire Wedding at Shrigley Hall, Pott Shrigley

Wedding Shrigley Hall

There is no doubt about it, a Wedding at Shrigley Hall in the tiny village of Pott Shrigey, Cheshire is a truly special place to get married.  The hall has been a number of things since it was built in 1825 for William Turner, a Blackburn mill owner and Member of Parliament. During the 20th century the building was used as a school by the religious institute of the Salesians of Don Bosco, who in 1936 added a chapel to the south of the house, dedicating it to Saint John Bosco.

Nowadays its a country house hotel and a very popular wedding venue both for the service and the reception, and it was a special wedding for me to photograph as it is where I got married in 1999, so reliving someone else’s wedding as a wedding photographer brought back some great memories of my big day.

Wedding reception at the Alma Inn, Laneshawbridge, Lancashire

Dramatic skies on the Lancashire / Yorkshire border

It’s only 9 miles from Bronte country with the historic village of Howarth over the the moors and into Yorkshire but the afternoon skies at the Alma inn just outside Colne on the Lancashire side of the border were full of drama. With rain the whole week before the wedding of Michael and Daniela this beautiful couple got a beautiful backdrop instead of all day rain as the day stayed thankfully dry.  The dark clouds interspersed with occasional sun simply added the stunning setting and the stunning dress of the bride.
